Earlier this year during my one week stay in the states I visited Washington DC a couple times. I made use of my camera which was dead for most of the one month trip because of a lost charger. One of my favourite shots in Washington DC was a shot of the US Capitol Building. I uploaded it to flickr not long after returning home and it has been in my favourites set since. 2 weeks ago I was contacted by a representative of Schmap.com who informed me that my photo was shortlisted for and might be a part of their online guide for Washington DC. At first I thought it was some kind of scam but I responded and gave them permission to consider my photo.
