On Sunday July 10th I had the opportunity to link up with a few fellow photographers in the Jamaica WI group on Flickr as we planned a mini meet-up to explore some areas in eastern St Andrew. We ended up going as far as St Thomas but all together it was a wonderful day out and provided a good opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet new ones all interested in Photography.
We usually meet up once a month to check out scenic spots all over Jamaica but this time the locations weren’t quite picturesque so we were discussing how scenes like these are good to challenge us as photographers to see the detail and refine our craft. I really enjoyed the day out and we ended it at a Beach Bar called Jamnesia eating ital food and playing a quirky but fun game called “Dirty Minds”.
