St Thomas Flickr Outing Experience

I still have muscle aches from all the walking, climbing and wading through a river, not to mention a crazy rash on my left leg that itches like crazy but my toil was not in vain. I met so many new friends, some of who are even more obsessed about photography than me and from talking with them and practical experience I continue to learn more and more about photography. Can’t wait for the next trip in December!

I am now home from my second linkup with my new Jamaican pals from flickr. This trip to St Thomas was even better than the trip last month to Portland. There were lots more people and tones more fun.
My feet hurt like crazy from allthe walking and wading through chest high water for the perfect shots and from the couple hundred I took Iwill be posting at least a dozen on flickr ovver the next few days so stay tuned.

While trying to find pictures that showed the lead up to the recently held (and historic) elections in the United States of America I ran into Barack Obama’s photostream!

I posted a few pictures of shots I took in Portland a few days ago. I have updated my flickr page with quite a few more images so check out two of my favourites below. Check out my Flickr page for more.

There has been big huge in recent weeks here in Jamaica surrounding the launch a new type of environmentally friendly gasoline mixed with ethanol called E10. The official launch was last weekend and I check out the happening…cam in hand. The sun was a bitch though as it was the middle of the day but I sticked around for a few hours and had a good practical learning session.
