Yesterday I attended a photography link-up with fellow Jamaican and photography enthusiasts. We all pooled our funds together and rented a bus and went Portland just to take photographs.

I had so much fun, learned so much and I enjoyed meeting many new friends who share a love of photography. It’s safe to say that I will be going on many more of such outings with them. I’ll be posting my favourite shots from the day over the next couple days. So stya tuned to my Flick Page and this blog for periodic updates.

Idling on National Heroes Day

It’s national Heroes Day today in Jamaica. It’s a beautiful super Hot day, I’m lazy and idle and up to mischief. I finished a mid-term project for my sister and have been playing around with my camera for the last hour or so. I decided to snap pictures of money and ended up taking pictures of the photo illustrations of 2 of Jamaica’s National Heroes on the money of Jamaica. Check out the fruits of my idle labour.

I attended a musical last week and brought on my camera to snap some shots seeing that i was fortunate enough to not only be invited at the last minute but also to have a VIP ticket which means a good view. Unfortunately the view wasn’t as good as I wanted and i was too busy enjoying the show to take “artistic” shots. Below are some of my favourites.

The vertical line problem on my camera reared it’s ugly head again and now I realise I will have that problem every time I take pictures with dark backgrounds or at night.
