Sony Cyber-shot T500 Compact Camera

Sometimes us photographers are not in the mood to lug around a couple pounds of gear whenever we want to take photographs and so a capable compact point and shoot is a useful camera to have. I’ve been looking at (and dreaming about) buying a compact cam lately and the is one of those cameras.

The 10.1 megapixel camera offers up a 5x optical zoom, 3.5-inch LCD, Optical SteadyShot, included 4gb memory stick, high quality movie capture and HD capabilities. Come on a man can dream can’t he?

On my trip to New York and back earlier this year I spent a lot of time waiting on delayed flights at the airport. I had nothing much to do so I tried to entertain myself by taking pictures……at an airport there isn’t much to take pictures of but…you gues it…Aeroplanes. Last week Sunday around this time I was at the Denbigh Agri-Industrial Show in Clarendon Jamaica. Just before leaving I ran into this crazy clown up to his (loud) antics.

Just as I pulled out my cam two youngsters jumped into my shot..lol. I like this picture though.

Independence Gala 2008

I had great fun yesterday at the Independence Grand Gala at the national stadium. The 15x zoom on my camera served it’s purpose yesterday as it allowed me to catch great shots of whats going on on the show floor from way up in the stands. Here are a few pf my photos. First Panda Bears, then Flamingos now hippopotamus! This continues in  the series of pictures of animals I saw at the Washington DC National Zoo in June.
